STOCKHOLM.
Zlatan scored his 49th and 50th national team-goal and beat Sven Rydell's 80-year-old most goals-record. The second goal was a beauty and he had prepared a "you mad it possible"-message on the shirt underneath.
For some this was just an irrelevant friendly game against a somewhat weak opponent, and with Sweden losing its 6 (!) last games, surely nothing exciting could happen at Friends this september-evening? Well, wait a minute. That's right, with Zlatan on the pitch hunting the record for most goals scored ever in the Swedish national team, this became a fun and historic game.
TYPICAL ZLATAN-WAY TO BEAT THE RECORD
After scoring 1-0 with his left, only a couple of centimers behind the line, his record-breaking goal was a beauty. Receiving the pass from the right, getting in front of his opponent, he scored with a typical backheel, very similar to the one he made against Anderlect in CL last season. The goal was his 50th in the Swedish shirt and he showed greatness with showing a t-shirt with the text "you made it possible" underneath. He has now scored more goals than anyone in the Swedish national team.
3' - 1-0, Zlatan Ibrahimović, SWEDEN.
24' - 2-0. Zlatan Ibrahimović, SWEDEN.
