CAEN.
Zlatan has scored alot of goals this season but perhaps not as many "sick" goals as we are used to. Today one came.
In the first half he bombed in 0-2 with an amazingly beautiful right wrist shot.
PSG dominated Caen and won 0-3.
– I followed the attack. The ball landed in front of me and I aimed for the top corner, Zlatan said after the game.
In the last game of the year Paris Saint-Germain went to Boulevard G. Pompidou to play 4th-placed Caen in Ligue 1.
DI MARIA OPENED UP THE SCORING
It didn't take long before PSG had taken the lead. A beautiful through ball by Verratti reached Aurier on the right wing, the Ivorian ran past his defender and crossed for Zlatan. The ball was cleared to Di Maria who calmed down and placed the ball in the net. 0-1 to PSG, great start.
ANOTHER "ALMOST-BICYCLE KICK" FOR ZLATAN
On Wednesday in the League Cup Zlatan displayed an insanely beautiful bicycle kick which hit the crossbar and today in the 22nd minute it was time again. For another crossbar and another "almost-bicycle kick", just not in the same action. First he shot the ball straight up into the crossbar with his right, the ball bounced on the goalline and the came back to Ibra, who showed his typical control and athleticism and bicycled the pall downwards on goal, but Caen-defenders were in the way.
WONDERGOAL BY ZLATAN
Ibra didn't let that bother him. Instead he scored an absolute worldclass goal in the 36th minute. The ball bounced out to him 25 meters from the goal and he instinctively shot with his right wrist. With barely no space to charge the shot he managed to fire a supershot anyway. The ball flew straight up into Vercoutre's left corner. 0-2 by Ibra, magical.
DI MARIA AGAIN AFTER GREAT PSG-ATTACK
PSG completely shattered Caen in this game. Di Maria was amazing and scored his second goal in the 50th minute. After a great PSG-attack where Maxwell found Lucas who headed the ball to Di Maria in the penalty area, the Argentinian beautifully lobbed the ball over Vercoutre. 0-3 to PSG, which despite several more chances and a (missed) Caen-penalty became the end result.
This was PSG's 28th Ligue 1-game without losses, which is a new club record in the league. The win also took PSG to 51 points after 19 games, which is a new Ligue 1-record for number of points in the first half of the season.
PSG played very direct in the first half. Verratti's and Di Maria's passes continously seemed dangerous and it effected Zlatan's game. He was less involved in the build-up and was more focused on getting the ball closer to Caen's goal. In the 22nd minute he had another "almost-bicycle kick", after first hitting the crossbar he bicycled it towards goal but the Caen-defenders cleared it.
In the 36th minute Zlatan scored an absolute worldclass goal. The ball bounced up to him about 25 meters from the goal and he fired an amazing right wrist shot, unstoppable up in Vercoutre's left corner. Zlatan's 15th Ligue 1-goal this season. He is in incredible shape right now.
The second half was quite similar to the first, Zlatan kept a high position but had fewer opportunities. He shot a freekick over from close range and had a shot at the post after an amazing PSG-attack but was called for offside.
