MANCHESTER.
Manchester United lost the prestigious Manchester-derby.
Despite a hopegiving goal from Zlatan just before halftime United failed to equalize in the second, Man City won 1-2.
– I could have scored more goals, Zlatan said after the game.
BLIND'S MISTAKE GAVE MAN CITY THE LEAD
Manchester City started the game better and controlled the actions up until the 15th minute when they scored the opener. A long ball was touched by Iheanacho to De Bruyne, who put out his just before Blind, who should have fallen back. De Bruyne got open with De Gea and placed the ball into the net. 0-1 to Manchester City.
IHEANACHO-CHOCK
United had a terrible half and in the 36th minute City extended the lead to 0-2. De Bruyne stepped into the penalty box and shot a left shot which hit the post and out to an at first seemingly offside-standing Iheanacho who put the ball in the back of the net. The replay showed that the linesman had it right. 0-2 to Manchester City.
ZLATAN GAVE UNITED HOPE BEFORE HALFTIME
Everything looked grim until the 42nd minute when Zlayan stepped into the action. Claudio Bravo came out and made a mistake, dropping the ball to Zlatan who instinctively picked it up and skillfully shot the ball into the net with his right. 1-2 at halftime.
CITY TOO STRONG
Manchester United came out as a completely different team in the second. Mourinho took off the poor wingers Mkhitaryan and Lingard and put on Rashford and Herrera. They started putting alot higher pressure and took over the game. The second half was insanely intense and physical and Man Utd pushed like crazy for the win but failed to score, the game ended 1-2 to Manchester City.
Started the game.
Was quite invisible in the first half half hour when Manchester City dominated the game. Fired two shots which were blocked by defenders, but it was in the very end he made his mark.
In the 42nd minute he picked up a dropped ball from Bravo and beautifully put his right foot high up and shot the ball into a semi-open net. His 5th goal in 5 apperances for United!
He then had two more great chances before halftme but his header was saved by Bravo and in a counter attack he then was superclose to scoring but Stones saved it on the goal line.
In the second, when Man Utd played much better, he kept shooting and kept kept being dangerous. He took a total 10 attempts (!), which is more than he did in almost all games in PSG, even against the poorest opponents.
He didn't manage to score again though and had to leave Old Trafford with his first lost in the Manchester United-shirt.

Your first Manchester derby was an eventful match in high tempo that ended 2-1 for City. What do you think of the match?
What was it in your opinion that decided the match in the light blue team's advantage today?
Manchester City's new keeper Claudio Bravo had a tough debut and was involved in your goal, as well as several other situations. If we look a bit closer at the situation where Wayne Rooney got hit really hard by the City keeper – what is your opinion of the situation?
You scored Uniteds only goal in the match, and you're involved in many more situations. What do you think of your own performance?
