It was a while since Zlatan scored.
Four games to be exact.
But tonight he was back on the scoresheet when Manchester United beat Zorya at home in Europa League.
His header meant 1-0 in the 69th minute and United won the three points.
– I saw that Rooney went for the finish, didn't get the right touch, and the ball came towards me. I just tried to get it on goal, Zlatan said about his goal.
ZORYA DEFENDED WELL IN THE FIRST
Since Manchester United lost the first game against Feyenoord, Mourinho put an almost full first starting eleven on the pitch. Rooney once again started in the bench, Mata played behind Zlatan, Rashford and Lingard. United controlled the game in the first half, Rashford had the best chance with an awesome shot onto the crossbar but they failed to score and it was goalless after 45 minutes.
ZLATAN SCORED THE GAMEWINNER
Manchester United pushed forward more and more in the second but failed to untie Zorya's compact defense. The guests even had a few semi-dangerous counterattacks, but it was Man Utd who took the lead and guess who? Ibracadabra. Rooney got a cross in the box in the 69th minute but mishit it badly. It went perfectly to Zlatan though who strongly won the duel against his defender and headed in 1-0 from close range.
Manchester United had a few more opportunites to score a second goal, but the game ended 1-0.

Wasn't superinvolved in the first half.
Took a shot from range in the 19th minute but it was blocked by Zorya-legs and went a decimeter or two over the bar.
Played better the closer we got to the halftime break but didn't get through to create any open chances.
He kept playing well in the beginning of the second half.
Small combinations with good touches, and in the 69th minute he got in the score sheet.
A missed volley shot from Rooney in the penalty box reached him at the far post and he headed the ball in goal, powerfully pushing away his marker.
With the goal in count, this was a very good performance by Ibra. He had a decent passing percentage, looked quite sharp when having the ball and became the gamewinner.
