PSG manager Laurent Blanc just confirmed Zlatan is out for another game, Lorient away tomorrow. As before, he didn't have any real answers about his injury but said he was positive about the progress and that he has trained more intensely the last three days. He said it's not impossible he can play next weekend's important game against Marseille but that he doesn't know.
"We have waited four weeks for Ibra, we can wait another week."

The 2014 FIFA Ballon D'Or nominations are out and Zlatan is once again one of the 23 top players who can win the award. Zlatan has been nominated 8 times before (2003-2005, 2007-2009, 2012-2013), with top position 4th last season and coming 7th both in 2007 and 2009.
The voting is made by the national team coaches, national team captains (where Zlatan get to vote due to his captaincy in Sweden) and international football journalists. They all put their top 3 and then the votes equals points which are calculated.
Two other awards are also presented, FIFA Puskás Award for the best goal in 2014 as well as FIFA FIFPro World XI for the "best team", or rather the best 11 players sorted in a team.
Last year Zlatan won the Puskás Award for his wondergoal against England as well as being apart of FIFA FIFPro World XI.
The award will be presented on the FIFA Gala on 15 January 2015.

With both Zlatan and Cavani (suspended) out, it was up to the other players to step up this evening. And when Van der Wiel got a red card in the 28th minute, PSG was in a tough situation. But only 10 minutes later Bordeaux's Biyogo Poko was also sent off and Lucas scored 1-0 on a penalty just before half time.
With Silva and Luiz dominating at the back and playing 10 vs 10 in the second half, Bordeaux could never threaten PSG. Lucas scored his second penalty in the 50th minute and then Lavezzi made it 3-0 in the 81st.
This was PSG's third straight win and they are still unbeaten in all tournaments this season.
No news about Zlatan's injury has been announced.

PSG (without injured Zlatan) beat cypriot Apoel 1-0 in tonight's Champions League. Edinson Cavani scored the only goal in the 87th minute, continuing PSG's undefeated streak (still no losses this season).
Barcelona beat Ajax 3-1 so the table in Group F looks like this after 3 games:
1. PSG, 7 points.
2. Barcelona, 6 points.
3. Ajax, 2 points.
4. Apoel, 1 point.
On November 11 the Swedish Football Awards are taking place in Stockholm, Sweden. Zlatan has once again (obviously) been nominated as one of three players for the "Forward of the year"-award. This is the 9th time Zlatan has been nominated, he has one the other 8 times (2005, 2007-2013).
He has the same record for the Swedish Golden Ball, given to the best male player that year, and everything points to him getting it for the ninth time this year.
The only competitor for the price is probably Malmo FF's Markus Rosenberg, with an impressive season behind him, but considering Zlatan won two titles with PSG this spring, the top scorer title in Ligue 1 as well as beating the Swedish national team goal record wth 50 goals, it would be a huge surprise if Swedish FA and Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet didn't once again give it to Ibra. Rosenberg is also nominated for the "Forward of the year"-award so one of them will probably win both awards.
We'll just have to wait until November 11 and see.

To celebrate 60 years of UEFA, they have nominated the 60 greatest goals ever made in one of the UEFA competitions. Zlatans monster-goal against Anderlecht in last season's UEFA Champions League has been nominated!
We must admit it's a bit surprising UEFA didn't choose either Zlatan's backheel against Italy 2004:
Or the wonderful beauty against France in the 2012 EURO:
Nonetheless, the goal against Anderlecht was awesome and the fact that it made a great hat-trick in an away game in the Champions League-knockout stage makes it even better.

On a press conference today, PSG manager Laurent Blanc announced that Zlatan will miss also tomorrow's game against Lens.
"His injury is progressing well, but not enough to be in the squad that will face Lens. Since returning, he is progressing, but still can't train with the group. I hope he comes back as soon as possible", Blanc said on today's press conference.
Zlatan did not get fit in time and missed both of Sweden's games this National team-session. Sweden drew against Russia (1-1) and beat Liechtenstein (2-0), with Zlatan's two mates Zengin and Durmaz scoring the goals (celebration in image above).
Sweden has 5 points after 3 games, with Russia and Austria before them.
There are still no real answers about how badly Zlatan is hurt. He did train with the Sweden team saturday so the signs are saying he should be back soon, potentially already Friday against Lens, but it's not certain. Ibra will now go back to Paris and rejoin his PSG-teammates. Next Sweden-game is 15 November against Montenegro.

Today Zlatan trained with the Swedish national team. There are still no definitive answers about his heel and whether or not he will play against Liechtenstein tomorrow.
He actually went off the pitch after only 5 minutes but apparently it was to change shoes and after he got new ones, he was able to participate in the collective training with the team.
There are alot of speculations about his potential game tomorrow, manager Erik Hamrén expressed that he is positive about Zlatan playing but no one really knows yet.
