ZLATAN NOMINATED FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Zlatan has completed two seasons in the French Ligue 1. Both seasons he was voted the best player and received the Player Of The Year-award 2012/13 and 2013/14.
He is now nominated again.
Together with teammates Javier Pastore and Marco Verratti as well as Lyon's current leader of the top goalscorer-table Alexandre Lacazette, French organisation UNFP (National Union of Professional Footballers) has nominated him to the 2014/15 Ligue 1 Player Of The Year-award which will be presented in a ceremony on 17 May.
If Zlatan wins, he will be the first player ever to receive three Player Of The Year-awards.
Other fellow Parisiens (besides Pastore and Verratti) who were nominated were manager Laurent Blanc for Manager Of The Year and defender Marquinhos for Young Player of the Year.
